560 Million VND and 15,000 Sets of Clothing Donated to Support Flood-Affected Residents in Đak Lak

The above cash and in-kind donations were coordinated and mobilized by the Hai Phong Tourism Association from its members to support flood-affected communities in Đak Lak Province.

Mr. Nguyen Đuc Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the meaningful contribution of the Hai Phong Tourism Association.

On December 22, the Hai Phong Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Hải Phòng Red Cross Society held a donation reception ceremony to receive VND 560 million and 15,000 sets of clothing in support of flood victims in Đak Lak Province.

Representatives of Babeeni Group symbolically presented the clothing donation to support residents in Đak Lak.

The cash and in-kind donations were coordinated by the Hải Phòng Tourism Association and collected from its members. Specifically, VND 560 million in cash was contributed by various members, while 15,000 sets of clothing (valued at VND 4.5 billion) were donated by Babeeni Group.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Đuc Tuan recognized and highly appreciated the goodwill of the Hai Phong Tourism Association and Babeeni Group. He emphasized that this was a timely and practical initiative that helped promote the national spirit of unity and solidarity and strengthened community support in social welfare efforts.

Representing the Hai Phong Tourism Association, Mr. Mai Xuan Thang stated that joining hands with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Red Cross Society was both the responsibility of the Association and the Hai Phong business community toward localities severely affected by natural disasters, thereby spreading meaningful humanitarian values throughout society.

According to the plan, all donations received will be promptly delivered to Đak Lak Province by the Hai Phong Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in coordination with relevant agencies and units, ensuring the support reaches the right beneficiaries in a timely, transparent, and accountable manner, helping flood-affected residents overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
