To continue the Covid-19 relief effort campaign, Babeeni Vietnam Co., LTD set up rice ATM at our factories so as to dispense free rice to the local poor or those have been affected by Covid-19 crisis.

Babeeni donated 365 bags of each 3kg rice, equivalent to total 1,095kg for this charity. Each person is allowed 3 kilograms of rice per day by queuing up and maintaining social distance at the ATM machines.

Behind the machines, the rice is stored in elevated vats and funneled through plastic pipes into bags carried by individuals. When an individual presses the button on rice ATM, a volunteer gets an alert on an app on his or her smartphone to release the rice.

Vietnam has had nearly 300 cases of the coronavirus and zero deaths, the numbers that are significantly lower than others. However, to prevent further outbreak, the government has enforced social distancing, effectively shutting down many sites and leaving thousands out of work. For people who are suddenly laid off, lose income have to face many difficulties. With a self-catering rice machine, rice ATMs that are invented in Vietnam, Babeeni immediately bought to serve supporting the Vietnamese poor struggling to feed their families in rural areas.

Babeeni plans to keep strengthening donation to help social community overcome the Covid-19 tough period and light up “Babeeni Pride”.
